Icynene LD R 50

LD-R-50 is a renewable based 0.5 lb. spray foam insulation and air barrier material, made using high-yield castor oil material. Caster oil is a natural, rapidly renewable material, which does not compete with food crops. Caster oil is made using low-energy dependent production processes that do not require irrigation (saving scarce water supplies). LD-R-50 provides all of the benefits of insulating and sealing the building envelope, while reducing the need for petroleum-based polyol.
